Hello there. Last you saw me was sometime in the middle of May, and now it’s approaching the end of June. Well… first let me say, I’m very sorry. Unfortunately, life happens. Or, more accurately for my current situation, illness happens. 🙂 However, I’m pleased to report that while I’m still stuck in bed, I have regained the ability to write! *confetti* 😀

With that said, let me assure you that though I left you in the middle of May, which was supposed to be filled with articles relating to the mental side of chronic illnesses, and now it is June, I am by no means done sharing about faith and the mental side of things on this blog! That and more as usual will be coming shortly!

There is, however, one thing we have to do before we get to that. I think you’re going to like it 😉 .

Night

Do you remember me telling you about the Kill Lyme Pie Challenge before? Yes? No? Well, let me refresh your memory real fast. To raise awareness for Lyme disease, participants take a Key Lime pie in the face, and share one fact about Lyme disease with their audience. Awesome, right?

Well, one of the readers of this blog challenged me to do it and I accept! Or, actually, my brother accepts to do it for me. It was supposed to be done in the month of May, but for the same reasons that I took an unplanned hiatus from this blog, that didn’t happen. It was also supposed to be green Key Lime pies are actually naturally a cream-ish color, not green, contrary to popular opinion (take it from me, I’ve spent the biggest chunk of my life in Florida).

Therefore, without further ado I present the Kill Lyme Pie Challenge:

  1. Aww, it’s good to see you back here! I’m so sorry you haven’t been feeling well, but I’m glad you’re feeling a little better. I’m praying you bounce back as quickly as may be and continue to improve!

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with not blogging when you feel bad! Taking care of yourself is most important. 😉

    1. Thank you, Mary! 🙂 Yes, for sure! That is something chronic illnesses teach you to do: slow down! I’ve had to learn it’s okay to take breaks. 😉
