You see, I already gave away my exciting announcement for today in the title, and therefore can’t torture you with hints and ramblings and suspense because you already know the secret. However, the fact that the title has an exciting announcement in it is probably the reason you clicked on this post in the first place.

  2. First off, Congratulations Sara on “He’s Making Duamonds” and having the book out and ready for preorder. That’s Amazing!

    Secondly, I did recieve the copy of the book and will write my review for the Book in the next couple of days (you know, after I read it).

    Finally, I wanted to ask you a question: What continued to push you as you wrote this book? For me, I’ve always wanted to be a Christian book author but never could get myself to commit to one single flowing story in my head.

      Good question! This is actually the first full-length project that I’ve finished.. there a quite a number of others that never made it very far at all. So I know the struggle. I think the biggest thing that kept me personally writing is the readers… both the readers of my blog and especially the alpha readers. When I knew people were keeping me accountable, and when they kept asking for the next chapter, that type of pressure was actually helpful for me. Different things help different writers, though. I know some authors who get discouraged by alpha readers when they aren’t ready for the feedback. For that reason, I was very careful to choose alphas who knew me well and who would speak the truth but would also be encouraging and not too critical. I would need critics later. 🙂 Is that helpful?
